Professional Photographer | Artful Approach | 10 Years of Experience
My name is Gera — photographer, dreamer, and explorer of beauty. For over a decade, I’ve been creating images filled with light, emotion, and genuine moments.
Photography, to me, is a way of speaking to the world without words. I truly love people and believe there is something deeply real in everyone. My mission is to see it — and preserve it.
I specialize in:
• Portrait photography
• Fine art nude (with sensitivity, respect, and aesthetics)
• Couple and family sessions
• Reportage/documentary photography
• Intimate weddings
My approach is rooted in art. I believe that meaningful images are born in moments of inspiration — when you’re moved by what’s unfolding. That’s why I seek to go deeper: to wander into a forest, to sit by the sea, to travel to another country, to hear music, or draw inspiration from great works of art. I believe in honest creativity — from the depths of the soul, straight to the heart.
My journey, in a few words:
In 2019, I made a life-changing decision: I left my job as a lawyer in Russia after 10 years, picked up a camera — and set off for sunny Tbilisi (Georgia).
• From 2019 to 2022, I lived and worked as a photographer between Tbilisi and Batumi, immersing myself in the spirit of Georgia and creating visual stories along the way.
• In 2022–2023, I felt called toward new horizons. I traveled, found inspiration in Istanbul, and spent time in Antalya, expanding my creative vision.
• Since 2023, I’ve been based on the island of Bali, photographing in breathtaking locations — by the ocean, at waterfalls, in the jungle, on villas, and at the foot of volcanoes.

My Approach to Photography
I take care of the entire process — from developing the concept to bringing it fully to life. That includes location scouting, style guidance (I work with a trusted team of makeup artists, hair stylists, and fashion stylists at various levels), retouching, video editing, and more.
During the shoot, I gently guide you through the process. I don’t believe in masks or stiff posing, and I never use heavy retouching. My approach is about natural flow, capturing your personality, and letting your essence shine through.
For me, a photoshoot is about enjoying the process and expressing who you truly are — with honesty and emotion.
FAQ:
What camera do you shoot with?
I’m a lover of great gear and accurate color reproduction, so in my work I use the Canon R6 Mark II, along with a selection of lenses for different purposes:
Canon 35mm f/1.8
Canon 50mm f/1.2
Canon 85mm f/1.8
What types of shoots do you offer?
I work in a variety of genres:
• Individual portraits (both men’s and women’s)
• Love stories
• Family and children’s sessions
• Video reels
• Model tests
• Content creation
• Intimate weddings
• Lookbooks (If you’re a fashion designer, feel free to reach out — I’m especially interested in this type of collaboration right now)
Do you help with posing?
I have modeling experience myself, so of course I help with posing during the shoot — gently guiding and adjusting as needed.
At the same time, I’m not a fan of stiff or forced poses. I’m all about individuality, natural movement, and a relaxed vibe. For me, a photoshoot is a dialogue, a moment of honesty, a little film about you.
Not sure what to wear?
“I have nothing to wear” — the most common concern before a shoot.
But don’t worry — in my work, your personality always comes first. Clothing plays a supporting role. That’s why I usually recommend starting with pieces from your basic wardrobe, especially if it’s your first session.
Think wide-leg jeans and a simple tank top, or classic trousers with a white shirt. Oversized fits are preferable — they create a more relaxed and natural look compared to tight clothing.
Accessories are a great way to enhance your outfit — sunglasses, watches, jewelry, hats, scarves — anything that adds a personal touch.
Before the shoot, I recommend sending your outfit options via WhatsApp so we can choose looks that highlight your individuality.
And by the way — if we’re shooting on the island of Bali, I have my own wardrobe collection available, including a mermaid tail!
Details and outfit ideas can be discussed in our messages.
I have no ideas for looks and locations
Text to me! I’ll suggest suitable locations based on your preferences and the type of shoot. I can also send you a list of studios if that’s more convenient.
Next, I’ll prepare a moodboard — visual inspiration where we’ll define the look, style, and concept of the shoot together. After that, we’ll set a date and get started!
Do you offer training?
Yes, I offer training in color grading, retouching, and the shooting process — for both beginners and professionals.
I also offer online mentorship sessions, where I help photographers grow and refine their skills.
You can find the detailed training program on my website in the “Training” section.
